The amount refunded depends on how far in advance you cancel:
- 60 days or more before travel: Full refund (minus any non-refundable deposits)
- 31–59 days before travel: 50% refund; 50% cancellation fee applies
- 15–30 days before travel: 25% refund; 75% cancellation fee applies
- Less than 15 days or no-show: No refund; 100% cancellation fee
Note: Some bookings—such as flights, hotels, or third-party tours—may include separate non-refundable deposits. Refunds are also subject to supplier (airline, hotel, or vendor) terms.
Refund Process
- You will receive a cancellation confirmation email within 48 hours after your request is approved.
- Refunds are generally processed within 7–14 business days to your original payment method.
- You may also request a travel credit for future bookings.
- Refund timelines may be longer for bookings involving airlines, hotels, or external providers.
Rescheduling Options
If your plans change, rescheduling may be a better option than canceling. This helps you avoid high cancellation fees while retaining the value of your booking. Contact us with your new preferred dates, and we will do our best to assist, subject to availability.
No-Show Policy
Failure to show up for your booked services without prior notice is treated as a full cancellation. In such cases, no refund or travel credit will be provided.
Cancellations Initiated by My Red Diamond LLC
In rare cases, if we must cancel your trip due to unforeseen issues such as supplier cancellations, safety concerns, or force majeure, you will receive:
- A full refund, or
- An option to reschedule at no extra cost
You will never be charged a cancellation fee for cancellations initiated by us.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance when booking your trip. Travel insurance can protect you from unexpected events such as illness, accidents, travel interruptions, or emergencies—ensuring eligible refunds or compensation.
