Cruise Cancellation Policy
At My Red Diamond LLC , we understand that cruise travel plans may change. This Cruise Cancellation Policy explains the terms, timelines, and conditions under which cruise reservations may be canceled, modified, or refunded. By confirming a cruise booking through our platform, you agree to the policy outlined below.
1. Cruise Booking Confirmation
A cruise reservation is considered confirmed only after My Red Diamond LLC successfully processes your payment and issues a booking confirmation. This confirmation includes the cruise line, ship name, sailing dates, cabin category, itinerary, passenger details, and total charges. Guests should review all details immediately upon receipt.
2. Cancellation Request Procedure
All cruise cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to our customer support team. The effective cancellation date is the date the written request is received. Verbal or telephone requests alone do not constitute an official cancellation.
3. Standard Cruise Cancellation Fees
Cruise cancellation penalties vary by cruise line,
sailing date, and fare type.
Typical cancellation timelines may include:
• Cancellations made more than 90 days prior to sailing
may qualify for a refund, less non-refundable deposits or service fees.
• Cancellations made 60–89 days before sailing
may incur partial penalties set by the cruise line.
• Cancellations made 30–59 days before sailing
may result in higher cancellation charges.
• Cancellations made within 30 days of departure
may be subject to up to 100% of the cruise fare.
• Failure to embark on the sailing date (no-show)
generally results in total forfeiture with no refund.
4. Non-Refundable & Promotional Cruise Fares
Certain cruise promotions, discounted rates, and early-booking offers may be non-refundable. These fares are clearly identified during booking. Once confirmed, such reservations cannot be canceled for a cash refund, regardless of the cancellation date.
5. Refund Processing Timeline
Approved cruise refunds are processed according to cruise line policies and returned to the original form of payment. Refund processing may take 14–45 business days depending on the cruise line, payment method, and financial institution. Processing delays caused by third-party providers are beyond our control.
6. Force Majeure & Extraordinary Events
In cases of events beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, government restrictions, port closures, public health emergencies, or operational disruptions, cruise lines may offer future cruise credits, itinerary changes, or limited refunds. Outcomes are determined by the cruise line and evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
7. Early Disembarkation
Guests who voluntarily disembark a cruise early are not entitled to refunds for unused nights, meals, excursions, or onboard services. Cruise pricing is based on the full sailing, not partial participation.
8. Cruise Date Changes & Rebooking
Requests to change sailing dates, ships, cabin categories, or passenger details are subject to cruise line availability and change penalties. Fare differences and service fees may apply.
9. Guest Responsibility & Documentation
Guests are responsible for ensuring valid passports, visas, health documentation, and compliance with port-of-entry requirements. Cancellations or denial of boarding due to documentation issues are not eligible for refunds.
10. Policy Amendments
My Red Diamond LLC reserves the right to modify this Cruise Cancellation Policy at any time. The version in effect at the time of booking governs your reservation.
