This Refund Policy explains how My Red Diamond LLC manages cancellations, refunds, and related matters for cruise reservations. By confirming a cruise booking through our platform, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Cruise Booking Confirmation

A cruise reservation is considered confirmed once payment is successfully processed and a confirmation email is issued by My Red Diamond LLC. The confirmation includes sailing dates, cruise line details, cabin category, passenger information, and a payment summary. Guests are responsible for reviewing all details upon receipt.

2. Refund Eligibility

Refund eligibility is determined by the cruise line’s fare rules, the type of rate purchased, and the timing of the cancellation. Some cruise fares are fully refundable, some partially refundable, and others strictly non-refundable, as disclosed at the time of booking.

3. Guest-Initiated Cancellations

All cruise cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to My Red Diamond LLC. The date the written request is received determines the applicable refund, if any, based on cruise line policies.

4. Standard Cruise Cancellation Penalties

Cruise lines typically apply increasing penalties as the sailing date approaches. These may include:

  • Cancellation far in advance of sailing: Partial or full refund, minus service fees.
  • Cancellation closer to departure: Higher penalty percentages.
  • Cancellation shortly before sailing or no-show: 100% cruise fare forfeiture.
Exact penalties depend on the cruise line, sailing date, cabin type, and promotional fare conditions.

5. Non-Refundable Charges

Certain charges are non-refundable, including booking service fees, cruise line administrative fees, port expenses, taxes, insurance premiums, and optional add-ons once processed. Non-refundable fares remain non-refundable regardless of cancellation reason.

6. Refund Processing Timeline

Approved refunds are processed to the original form of payment. Refund timelines typically range from 7 to 30 business days, depending on cruise line processing schedules and banking institutions. Processing delays caused by third parties are beyond our control.

7. Missed Sailings & No-Show Policy

Guests who fail to embark on the scheduled sailing date without prior cancellation are considered no-shows. No-shows generally result in forfeiture of the full cruise fare with no refund or future cruise credit.

8. Cruise Line Schedule Changes

If a cruise line cancels or significantly modifies a sailing, guests may be offered a refund, future cruise credit, or rebooking option in accordance with the cruise line’s policies. Refund outcomes are determined solely by the cruise operator.

9. Force Majeure & Extraordinary Events

Events such as severe weather, government restrictions, port closures, health emergencies, or other force majeure situations are handled in accordance with cruise line policies. Refunds, credits, or alternative arrangements are not guaranteed and are determined by the cruise operator.

10. Partial Cancellations

If part of a cruise booking is canceled—such as removing a guest or optional package—refund eligibility is subject to cruise line rules. Repricing or penalties may apply to the remaining reservation.

11. Changes in Sailing Dates or Itinerary

Requests to change sailing dates or itineraries after booking are treated as modifications and may incur change fees, fare differences, or rebooking penalties imposed by the cruise line.

12. Travel Insurance Recommendation

We strongly recommend purchasing cruise travel insurance to protect against unexpected cancellations, medical emergencies, missed departures, or trip interruptions. Insurance coverage is optional and not included unless purchased separately.

13. Policy Updates

My Red Diamond LLC reserves the right to update this Refund Policy at any time. The policy in effect at the time of booking governs your reservation. Updates will be posted on this page.
